Tendinitis of the cap

Tendinitis of the rotator cuff can be distinguished:

– calcific tendinitis
– tendonitis (tendonopathies) not broken and not calcifying

Delinimitation :

This chapter will not discuss the ‘broken’ tendinopathies of the cuff that will be treated in the ‘ruptures’ of the rotator cuff even if the evolution of an unruptured tendinopathy can be towards a tendinopathy broken.

Definition:

tendinitis = inflammation of a tendon
Tendinopathy = Tendon disease, tendon that can be inflamed or not.

 

The two names are often confused, it is more of the esoteric medical language that a real information in the context of our wish for medical extension.
