What is an operation in case of dislocation of the shoulder?

We can distinguish 2 types of interventions in case of dislocations:

– ‘repairing’ interventions consisting of reattaching (or tightening) the ligaments, the capsule and the glenoid bead. We often talk about capsuloplasty (intervention of Bankart performed arthroscopically) and for our team of ‘Bipolar Lock’.

– The ‘palliative’ interventions where the objective is not to repair but to overcome the problem of dislocation by an unnatural method such as the shoulder stop or Latarjet intervention that we have recently done under arthroscopy as well.
