Pulse therapy is defined as a passive physiotherapy mode using a system of pulleys, ropes and weights.
We are divided on this means used in physiotherapy. The shoulder is an articular complex that includes several joints. During the mobilization, it is necessary to control the smooth running of the kinematics in each articulation.
We are not against the pulley therapy but it must be used with a very frequent control of the physiotherapist who will be vigilant and will correct you regularly. It must not, moreover, be carried out without limit of the number of movements.
It is absolutely necessary to remember that the mobilization of the shoulder, whether passive or active, must never be done by multiplying the repetitions.
A mobilization must not be aggressive, be controlled and especially limited to the number of movements to obtain the desired amplitude depending on the stage of rehabilitation.
